Are these LEGO® toys brand new?

ToyHarmony is an online toy store, we focus on LEGO® toys. We specialise in rare, retired LEGO® sets that are discontinued. We also have a small range of current LEGO® sets and a humble range of wall metal signs, with words signs such as Hope, Home and Love among others.

At ToyHarmony we get asked many questions all the time and one question that frequently comes up is, are these LEGO® toys brand new? The direct answer is yes, all our LEGO® range is brand new and never been opened. Brand new also means that the seals have never been broken and the packaging is still in its original factory sealed state.

All the contents inside the LEGO® boxes are also in their sealed plastic packets or bags. The toys have never been used or built, we check and recheck the seals to ensure that all our customers are getting what they view in our online store.

The second definition is that though the toys are brand new, most are not the current trends of today or are the boxes in mint condition. The LEGO® toys that we showcase may not be the current trends that are available in the market today. Most of what we offer are discontinued from the LEGO® group and are not available by the original producers.

In addition, they are most likely also not available in the local brick and mortar store, so if you do not see them in the big deparment stores it is because they have been retired and are no longer available.

For example of a retired LEGO® set :

This set was release in 2013 and is now retired, it has 914 pieces and can build a 2 level bike showroom, a pizzeria with outdoor seating, a red bus, a mobile construction crane and more. With 8 LEGO® minifigures and lots of toy LEGO® accessories, it is a fun set to build.

As shown below:

When it is stated that the LEGO® sets are not in mint condition, some of the boxes may have defects or damages on them.

These damages on the LEGO® sets could have been from being stored for a long period, they may have been handled many times, heavy weights could have been placed on top of them and have been exposed to the elements.

These damages will also be visible on the boxes and depending on the severity of the defect we place all the details on the bottom of the descriptions. However majority of the LEGO® boxes that we offer are in very reasonable condition and some are in excellent condition.

Whatever the condition of the external box or packaging and no matter how old the LEGO® sets are, one fact is for certain the LEGO® toys that we showcase are brand new and never opened.

Hope this bit of information helps as you browse from over 350 of our rare and retired LEGO® sets. Visit us and find out more at www.toyharmony.com.au

Thank you and have a beautiful day.
